HELLO!! MSG FROM NELSON! Hi members of TWSSCO!! Nelson Alumni is here today to post. Members, all of you are not really that bad! If everyone could come for practices regularly, all of you will surely make it for the syf. I actually see improvements in all of you! As a senior who is in this orchestra for the 6th year (ARHH I SO OLD!! D=), i really felt that the standard of my generation compared to now is the same. In fact, i see more talented pp now compared to last time! During my batch when we got sliver, the songs that we played were actually easier than what you all were practicing now. The songs that you all are practicing currently have more running notes, longer duration, harder coordination and etc. Now, the question is - Other pp might say, "wah! Last time CO got sliver, now CO gt bronze only. The orchestra become lousy already la!" I THINK THIS IS NOT TRUE AT ALL. During my batch, there were problems too. Problems like - not wanting to attend CO, like to pon, always said they wanted to quit CO, can't play the songs well and etc. Same problems as what the CO had now! In fact, the number of pp who don't like CO during that time was more than what it is now. I was so delighted to hear that some CO members liked TWSSCO! During my batch, hardly there would be anyone who said they liked CO. For me, it was only after my last SYF that i started to like it. Seniors always tend to feel that they are better, and the juniors are lousier than them. This kind of thing happens in any cases. I heard people from my batch saying that the batch after us was lousy. I heard from violet's batch saying the new batch after them was not good. I heard from yeeling's batch about the CO not wanting to practice hard. AGAIN, IS OUR CO REALLY THAT BAD??! NO! All of you where got become lousier and lousier? Believe me! The standards of the orchestra really didn't change so much!! Now, i hope that everyone will try to gain more bonding with one another! Chinese orchestra needs everyone to be bonded together in order to make nice music. In every CCAs there will always be someone who wants to quit or doesn't like the CCA. This always happens. Teachers and leaders always uses force to keep them back. I am sure that if every member are best friend with one another inside the orchestra, the whole orchestra will be more bonded and they will not leave so easily. Make friends with everyone! Love your members! HEY! i said these things to encourage you all! Not as an excuse to say its ok not to come! Please come practice everytime hor!! If not as a alumni senior, i go 打 your 屁股! members, love your CCA, practice hard, come CO!!
